Medieval fair relies on Rollalong service

A medieval fair staged in the Surrey town of Chertsey draws vast crowds of revellers every year, necessitating long term planning and the provision of temporary facilities on a very large scale. For this event, Rollalong Hire Events has built up an excellent working relationship with the organisers since the Millennium. The Black Cherry Fair has become one of the biggest events in Surrey's social calendar attracting up to 30,000 visitors annually to the Abbey Fields Park.

Although toilet provisions would have been basic, or perhaps non-existent back when the fair started more than 500 years ago, for the past five years Rollalong Hire Events has supplied the toilet facilities to this very popular local event.

This highly successful fair, featuring many different competitions and demonstrations as well as stalls selling the black cherries themselves, is run by the Chertsey Round Table.

All the proceeds go to support local charitable activities.

A spokesperson for the organisers Anna Berry says: 'Entrance to the Black Cherry Fair is free as is entrance to the competitions, so that any body can come'.

'As something run for the community it has therefore become amongst the biggest one-day events in Surrey and regularly attracts crowds of between 15 and 30,000'.

'We have used Rollalong Hire Events for a very long time to supply the extra toilets and during all the time I've organised it there was never any problem'.

'The company has given a very good service'.

Rollalong Hire Events is able to supply a wide variety of toilet units for outdoor events offering different sizes and specifications.

The options include both self contained and mains linked units as well as luxury toilets.

They can also supply all of the consumables that are required, while staff are also available to carry out cleaning and replenishments on a regular basis throughout the hire period.
